Data controller

Personal data collected on this website is processed by YKSD INTERNATIONAL GROUP SARL, which operates Casa Habitat (registered office: 5 Rue Ennoussour, RDC, Casablanca, Maroc; contact: contact@casahabitatmaroc.com), in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

Data collected

• •“List your property” and valuation forms: when you send them after giving your consent, we store the information entered (name, phone number, WhatsApp, email, property details and message) in our secure database (Supabase), and a notification is sent to us by email. No automated message is sent to you: an advisor contacts you personally. We also record how you reached our website (for example: a Google search, a social network or a shared link), without cookies, to understand which channels make us known.
• •“Request a viewing” form (on a property page): when you send it after giving your consent, we store your contact details (name, phone number, email if provided), the reference of the property concerned and the details you choose to give (plans, budget, preferred date and time of day, message), together with how you reached our website, in our secure database (Supabase), and a notification is sent to us by email. No automated message is sent to you: an advisor calls you back personally to arrange the viewing.
• •Short-stay booking (on the page of a property open for booking): when you send a request after giving your consent, we store your contact details (name, phone, email if provided), the property, your stay dates, the number of guests, the calculated amount and any message, together with how you found our site, in our secure database (Supabase), and a notification is sent to us by email. For a stay of up to 14 nights, the dates you choose are held for you for 24 hours (up to two requests at a time); the request only becomes a booking once Casa Habitat confirms it. No online payment is requested and no automatic message is sent to you: an advisor contacts you personally. The public calendar only shows whether dates are free or taken, never who has booked.
• •Contact form: it opens your own email application with a pre-filled message. The information you choose to send (name, email, phone number, message) reaches us by email; it is not stored on the website.
• •Virtual advisor: the messages you exchange with the assistant are processed by an artificial intelligence service (Anthropic) to generate the replies. Casa Habitat does not keep the text of conversations; Anthropic processes it under its own terms. If you expressly agree to have your request passed on to an advisor, we store your contact details (name, phone, email or WhatsApp) and your search criteria (property type, neighborhood, budget, timing, properties viewed) in our secure database (Supabase), and a notification is sent to us by email.
• •Favorites: your list of favorite properties is stored only on your device (browser local storage) and is not shared with anyone.
• •Videos: property and agency videos are hosted on YouTube (Google). The YouTube player only loads when you click the play button; until then, the preview image is served by our own website. When you play a video, Google receives the technical data of your connection (including your IP address) under its own privacy policy; the player uses privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
• •Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider processes technical connection data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) to keep the website secure and running properly. A cookie remembers the language you have chosen. The website does not use advertising cookies or any external audience measurement tool. It counts by itself, anonymously and without cookies, how often listings are viewed and how often the contact buttons (WhatsApp, call, share) are clicked, together with the channel through which the visitor arrived (for example: Google, Facebook or a flyer): only daily totals are kept, with no IP address or identifier, and no profile is built. So that the same view is not counted twice, the list of listings viewed is kept in the browser tab until it is closed.

Purposes

Your data is used solely to respond to your requests (viewing, valuation, rental, purchase, property management), to contact you when you have asked us to, and to keep the website secure and running properly. It is neither sold nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Mandatory and optional information

The information essential to process your request is flagged by the form if it is missing: without it, the request cannot be sent. All other information is optional; not providing it does not prevent your request from being processed.

Data recipients

Your data is accessible only to authorized members of the Casa Habitat team in charge of handling your request.

We use service providers that process certain data on our behalf, solely to provide their service: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database), Anthropic (virtual advisor and automatic translation of listings), Google (automatic translation of published listings; only the listing texts are sent, with no personal data), Resend (email notifications), Upstash (protection against abusive submissions: your IP address is kept there for no more than one hour) and Mapbox (maps). Some of these providers are located outside Morocco, notably in the United States.

Retention period

Requests and contact details of prospects and property owners are kept for 3 years from the last contact and then deleted. Technical connection data is kept only for as long as strictly necessary for the security of the website.

Your rights

Under Law No. 09-08, you have the right to access and rectify your data and, on legitimate grounds, to object to its processing, as well as the right to request its deletion. In addition, you may object, free of charge, to any use of your data for marketing purposes. To exercise these rights, write to contact@casahabitatmaroc.com. You may also contact the Moroccan National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP – www.cndp.ma).
